GPAS’s “Next Chapter” Event

GPAS’s “Next Chapter” and “Jump into Spring” Concert
Sunday April 2 at 4PM at the Greece Performing Arts Center at Athena – 800 Long Pond Road
Be the first of many to experience the “Next Chapter” for the Greece Performing Arts Society at the newly renovated Greece Central Performing Arts Center.
Eric Vaughn Johnson, new GPAS President, will reveal the updated look of the organization, as well as announce several new events, partnerships and programs. The purpose of GPAS’s “Next Chapter” is to take the organization into 2017 to expand the arts in Greece and in the Greater Rochester Area. Johnson will also introduce several key players who will help with the expansion.
These significant changes will be followed by a concert showcase, “Jump into Spring,” featuring spotlight performances by the Choral Society, Community Orchestra, Concert Band, Jazz Band and Symphony Orchestra. These groups, comprised of people of all ages and backgrounds, will perform a wide variety of genres.
Tickets will be available at the door: $8 for adults and $5 for seniors and students. For groups of 8 or more, please call (585) 234-5636. Please note that media attending this event do not have to pay for tickets.

This project is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature administered by the Genesee Valley Council on the Arts at the Livingston Arts Center, a member supported organization.
